TRIGGERRUN (TRP) is one of the greatest hidden treasures in underground music.

TRP's journey begin in 1993, center stage at the World Re-known, Apollo Theater. Their electric performance would captivate the audience & forever change the world of Hip-Hop. With an eclectic Hip-Hop dance ensemble, TRP was the first amateur Hip-Hop group to assemble on stage & introduce to the world an acrobatic, rhythmic dance that produced spin-offs like America's Best Dance Crew, You Got Serve & Stomp the Yard!

TRP's performance would serve as catalyst that would set the city of New York ablaze, catapulting TRIGGERUN into the mythical urban legend & pioneer of the Next Gen Hip-Hop movement seen world-wide.

In the summer of ‘94, TRP teamed up with Miami Bass artist Beat Master Clay D and Total Kaos for a summer tour as opening act to promote their first indie single release, “Pump Ya Fist”.

Four years later (1998), TRP return home to set their sights on their next career move to Atlanta, the new Motown of the South, where they  performed their second indie release single “Toss It Up” at the Atrium.

After taking a sabbatical from the industry, in 2024 DA TRIGGA would reunite & be recognized and awarded “King of Stage” by Yo!ATLRaps (Atlanta, GA).

TRP's underground music revolution created a cosmetic shift that would resonate throughout the city and re-inspired a musical rebirth not known since the days of Albany’s own, Ray Charles, blessed the city with his great musical talent.
